Key Characters: Ixora finlaysoniana are shrubs or small trees. Leaves opposite, elliptic, oblong, obovate. Corymbs, open, sessile or subsessile. Flowers white or pale green, faintly scented. Calyx-tube, pubescent or glabrous; lobes, lanceolate or oblong, pubescent or glabrous, acute. Corolla-tube, glabrous; lobes, ovate-oblong, obtuse; buds greenish brown. Fruit  globose, glossy, black or reddish, blue at maturity.
